Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise ( regular or light )
- 1/2 cup sour cream ( regular or low fat )
- 1/2 cup fresh green onions (green parts )
- 1/2 cup fresh chives
- 1/4 cup fresh dill
- 1/4 cup fresh basil
- juice from half a large lemon
- 1 small piece of anchovy and 1 tsp of the oil ( add as much to flavor or omit if you wish )
- salt to taste if anchovy not used
- fresh grated black pepper to taste
- optional: garlic if you wish, other herbs such as tarragon, parsley, oregano etc )
