Ingredients
- 3lbs raw shrimp, deveined, wtih or without tails, your choice
- 2T olive oil
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-2 fresh jalapenos, diced(sub a bell pepper if desired)
- 7-8oz canned chilies(hot or mild, your choice), undrained
- juice from 3 limes
- juice from 1 lemon
- juice from 2 oranges
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1-3t ground cumin
- 1T smoked paprika
- 1/2-2t ground chili pepper(I used pasilla, could use ancho, chipotle, or even cayenne)
- kosher or sea salt and fresh ground black pepper
- about 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
- Cooked white or brown rice, for serving
Description
This Is Another Quick And Easy Shrimp Dish That Can Either Be Done On The Stove Or, Feel Free To Grill The Shrimp And Just Reduce The Marinade On The Stove. Adjust The Heat To Your Liking By Type And Amount Of Chilies. I Suggest Serving This Over Rice.
