Oven Fried Herb Chicken

Ingredients

    1 stick butter
    1 1/2 t. salt divided ( 1 t. and 1/2 t.)
    4 lbs. (9 pcs.) chicken breast, no skin
    1 c. all-purpose flour (original recipe calls for 1 1/2 c.)
    1/2 t. paprika
    1/2 t. dried basil
    1/2 t. dried thyme
    2/3 c. buttermilk or evaporated milk
