    pinch of turmeric...(add more)
    1/2tsp salt
    2 1/2c hot water
    1 c onion chopped
    2 tsp fresh ginger, grated
    1 1/2 tsp cumin
    1 1/2 tsp coriander
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    pinch of cayenne
    1/2 c water
    1 sm sweet potato or 1 med carrot, diced
    2 c small cauliflower florets
    1 med bell pepper, chopped
    1 tomato, chopped
    1/2 c fresh or frozen peas
    1/3 cup raisins
    3/4 cup chickpeas, canned-rinsed and drained, or dried-soaked and cooked
