Ingredients
- 1/2 head of cabbage, boiled
2 tbsp avocado oil (olive oil can be subbed)
1 small white onion
1 carrot, shredded
5 mushrooms, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/4 tsp chili powder
1/5 cup black beans (cooked in water, no salt)
1 tsp vegetarian chicken base (I use better than bullion - if you aren't a vegetarian, any stock base will do -- or sub one cup of broth for the base and the beer)
8 oz beer (lighter is better - recommend you use a Mexican beer -- as above, you can sub broth for the beer and the base)
1/2 cup + 1 tbs salsa (store bought is fine here)
