Ingredients

    2 TBSP Butter
    1.5 tsp garlic (or two cloves)
    pinch of cayenne pepper
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    2 TBSP all purpose flour (better to use whole wheat)
    1/2 cup 1% milk
    1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    9 ounces dry elbow macaroni
    1/2 cup pureed chick peas (canned, drained before pureeing.)
    1/2 cup pureed canned carrots (drained before pureeing.)
    1/4 cup low fat cream cheese
