Ingredients

    1 small loaf whole grain and oats bread (Try to buy a whole loaf from a bakery. Choose one that does not have a very thick crust) – need about 4 cups of bread cubes
    4 Italian turkey or chicken sausages (spicy is preferable), casings cut off and removed and meat crumbled
    2-3 cups low sodium chicken broth (or vegetable broth) – amount is to your liking – whether you like it more wet or dry
    ½ cup white wine
    1 cup sliced organic crimini mushrooms
    2 celery stalks
    1 medium white onion, chopped
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    1 cup walnuts
    1 cup dried cranberries
    2 tbsp parsley, chopped
    3-4 large sage leaves, minced finely
