Tunisian Soup

Ingredients

    1 teaspoon of Cumin Seeds
    1 Pound (4 cups) of Swiss Chard. Chop up stems and leaves.
    1 medium sized red onion (1 cup chopped)
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    3 tablespoons of tomato paste
    1 teaspoon of Louisiana hot sauce (or hot sauce of choice)
    1 tablespoon of lemon juice(for cooking)
    1 1/2 egg noodles
    1/2 cup chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
    4-5 cups vegetable broth (or any substitute such as chicken broth)
