2   cups triticale berries* (farro) 1   tablespoon butter or margarine, melted 1   butternut squash (2-1/2 lbs.), peeled, seeded and diced 2   cans (14-1/2 oz. each) chicken broth 1/4   cup water 1   tablespoon olive oil 1-1/2   cups chopped onions 1   tablespoon finely chopped garlic 1/2   cup white wine 3/4   pound Swiss chard, trimmed and leaves chopped (5-1/2 cups) 1   teaspoon chopped fresh thyme 1/2   teaspoon salt 1/4   teaspoon freshly ground pepper 1/8   teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg 1/3   cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese   Freshly shaved** Parmesan cheese, for garnish (optional)
