- 1 Chicken ideally from 4.6 lbs to 5 pounds
- 3 Tbs of Lemon juice
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 Tbs vegetable oil
- 2 onions peeled and roughly chopped
- 4 garlic cloves or shallots crushed
- 1 and 1/2 inch piece of fresh ginger peeled and chopped
- 3 Tbs of ground almonds
- 1/2 tsp Kashmiri chili or (1/4 tsp cayenne mixed with 1/4 tsp paprika)
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 5 tsp of chopped fresh cilantro
