Ingredients

Meat Filling:

  1. 1 finely chopped Onion
  2. 1/2 - 3/4 lb. Bacon, finely diced (or 1/2 lb. Bacon and 1/4 lb. Ham or Pork jowl)
  3. salt and pepper to taste


Dough Ingredients:

  1. 3/4 cp. milk
  2. 1/4 cp. butter
  3. 2 tsp. salt
  4. 2 Tbsp. Sugar

3 1 pkg. (about 1 Tbsp.) dry yeast

  1. 1/4 cp. warm water
  2. 1 beaten egg
  3. 3 1/2 cps. white flour
  4. 1 - 2 Tbsp. sour cream (otional)

Glaze Ingredients:

  1. 1 egg, beaten
  2. 1 - 2 tsp. milk or water
  3. 1/4 tsp. Sugar (optional)
