  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 200 ml dark ale, such as stout
  • 115 g cheddar cheese, grated
  • 115 g caerphilly cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp celery salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp English mustard powder
  • 12 oysters, shelled
  • 12 slices of French bread, sliced 1cm thick on the bias and toasted
  • 6 rashers bacon
  • chopped parsley, to garnish
