Broccoli & Cauliflower Saute With Garlic & Ginger

Ingredients

  • 1 pound  broccoli
  • 1 small  head cauliflower (about 1-1/4 pounds)
  • 9 tablespoons  extra-virgin olive oil; more as needed
  •   Kosher salt
  • 1 small  red onion, thinly sliced
  • large pinch  dried red chile flakes; more to taste
  • pinch  saffron threads, crumbled
  • 1/2 teaspoon  yellow mustard seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon  brown or black mustard seeds
  • 4 medium  cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon  finely chopped fresh ginger
  • 1/3 cup  chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1   lime, cut into wedges

Description

This Makes A Tasty Vegetarian Meal When Served With Rice And A Yogurt Sauce, But I Also Like It As A Side Dish For Grilled Lamb Chops.
