Three-Seed Dinner Rolls

Ingredients

  • 6 to 6-1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 packages active dry yeast
  • 2 teaspoons table salt
  • 2 sticks (8 ounces) unsalted butter, 1 stick cut into small pieces and softened and 1 stick melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1-1/2 cups lukewarm water (105° to 115°)
  • 1-1/4 teaspoons mixed seeds (such as poppy seeds, cumin seeds and fennel seeds)
  • 1-1/4 teaspoons coarse sea salt
