Shrimp And Carambola Salad In Avocado
1/4 cup diced green pepper
1/4 cup thinly sliced celery
1/4 cup sliced water chest-nuts or toasted almond slivers
2 cups cooked shell maca-roni
1 carambola cut into star slices (save 4 slices for garnish)
2 ripe avocados cut to half, pit removed & sprinkled with lime juice to prevent browning
Dressing:
1/2 - 3/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tbs. chopped onion
1 tbs. French dressing
1 tbs. lime juice
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. Dijon-style mustard freshly ground pepper
