I'm so proud of this soup because I never made a cream soup. That how easy it is not mention flavorful! It's also very healthy even with the bacon. So you can grab a big bowl of this, curl on the couch, and watch movies for hours or this can be a great starter to a romantic dinner. Take out the bacon for a vegetarian dish or use this soup to convert vegetable haters! Asparagus is one of those vegetable that is under estimated but after people try it that won't last for long.SOUP:
1 pound- asparagus
1 can of chicken broth(14.5oz)
1 large onion
10 strips of bacon
2 leek
2 TBSP-butter
2 TBSP-flour
1 cup-milk
1 tsp-lemon juice
1/2 cup-sour cream
1 & 1/2 tsp-salt
1 tsp pepper
GARNISH:
-Tomatoes
-Green Onion
- Crumbled bacon
