Annika's Chocolate / Espresso Cake


  • 3 eggs
  • 400 ml sugar
  • 1-2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 150g butter (melted)
  • 200 ml milk (or half milk half water)
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp dark chocolate powder
  • 1-2 tsp instant espresso powder
  • 400 ml flour
  • 175°C oven
  • Two 19 cm round springform pans, or one large buttered and lined springform pan or bundt pan
