- 800-1000 grams stewing beef, cubed
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 4 cloves of garlic, crushed
- 1 cinammon stick
- 2 teaspoons ras-el-hanout
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 can of chopped tomatoes water or stock
- 15 grams coriander, chopped roughly
- 15 grams chopped flatleaf parsley
- The peel of half a pickled lemon, rinsed and chopped finely
