Ingredients
- 500 g mince meat
- 1 medium slice bread, crusts removed
- 100ml Milk (or less)
- half onion, finely chopped
- 5ml ginger, grated
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 Celery sticks, finely chopped
- 10ml curry powder, mild
- quarter teaspoon cumin seeds
- 25ml lemon juice
- 5ml apricot jam or Mrs Balls chutney
- 2 tablespoons tomato pesto mix (optional)
- 12-15 chopped whole almonds (optional)
- 1 tablespoon sultanas
- salt and pepper
- 3 bay or lemon leaves
- 2 eggs and milk, beaten together and set aside
