1 1/2 cups Half-and-half
6 tablespoons Cornstarch
1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Water
4 Large egg yolks, at room temperature
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Flavored Whipped Cream:
3 cups Heavy cream
3 tablespoons Granulated sugar
1 tablespoon Vanilla extract
