Ingredients
- crab Imperial
- 1 lb backfin or lump crab meat
- 1/2 c mayonnaise
- 1/2 c sour cream
- 1 ts lemon juice
- 1 ts worcestershire sauce
- 1 ts Dijon mustard
- 1/8 ts curry powder
- cheddar cheese sauce:
- 3 tb butter
- 3 tb flour
- 1/2 ts salt
- 1/8 ts ground black or white pepper
- 1 1/2 c milk
- 1 c sharp cheddar cheese; grated
- Muffin and ham:
- 1/2 lb Smithfield ham (or other salt ham); thinly sliced
- double smoked ham also works well
- Smithfield smoked pork chops are a very good substitute.
- 8 whole grain English muffins
- or split Solado bread
