- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbs butter, melted
- 1 cup small curd cottage cheese, drained
- 1/2 lb lean ground beef (I used ground turkey)
- 1/2 lb sausage (I used link sausage--all I had)
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 (15oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder (or to taste)
- 1 tbs sugar
- 1 tsp oregano (or to taste)
- salt (to taste)
- pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
