Falafel Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of dried chickpeas, soaked in water for 8 hours overnight*
  • 1/4 cup of bulgur or quinoa
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 small onion, chopped
  • 1 t cumin
  • 1/2 t turmeric
  • 1/2 t coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
  • salt, pepper
  • 1 Tb of sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 2 t baking soda
