Ingredients

  • 6 hotdog or hamburger buns – opened
  • *If you use hamburger buns, then double the amounts for the custard and use a 9 x 13 casserole dish
  • 1 stick / 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1-1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 1-1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 cups 2% milk
  • *Sometimes a sprinkling of cinnamon is a welcomed flavour addition.
