- Bobby Flay spice Rub for Meat **what I substituted for this below**
- canola oil
- 1 pound bacon, cut into lardon
- Dijon mustard
- whole grain mustard
- honey
- Prepared horseradish
- **meat rub substitution**
- 3 Tbsp dry mustard
- 1 1/2 Tbsp dried oregano
- 1 Tbsp chili powder
- 1/2 Tbsp garlic powder
- 1/2 Tbsp black pepper
- 1/2 Tbsp sea salt
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp celery seed

- Cabbage:
- 1 head cooked cabbage
- 8 whole shallots
- canola oil or vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
