- 2 cups Post 100% Bran cereal
- 1 packet (40g) Carnation Breakfast Anytime, chocolate flavour
- 1/4 cup Torani (or similar) vanilla-flavoured syrup (use sugar-free if you want)
- 1 cup hot water
- 1/4 cup skim milk
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 tsp butter flavouring (optional, I use Wilton brand)
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- pinch salt
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
