- 2 TB flour
- 1/4 c white wine or dry sherry
- 3/4 c apple juice or cider
- 3/4 c chicken broth
- 1 TB minced fresh thyme
- salt and black pepper to taste
- diced Granny Smith apple
- fresh thyme sprigs
