Apricot Pork Chops With Walnuts Recipe

  • 4 boneless pork chops about 3/4 to one inch thick
  • 2 minced shallots
  • 1/4 cup of dry vermouth
  • 1/2 cup of apricot preserves or peach if you have it
  • 1/2 cup of chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 2 tsp of minced fresh ginger root
  • 1 piece of candied ginger chopped
  • 1/2 cup of chopped toasted walnuts
