Ingredients
- PER REQUEST LANAS banana SPLIT PIE
- Crust:

- 1 1/2 c chocolate cookie crumbs (crushed)
- 2 tb Granulated sugar
- 1/4 c butter, softened
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- Custard:
- 2 cups whole milk
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup AP flour
- 1/4 tsps salt
- 3 ounces of cream cheese (VERY soft)
- Toppings:
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- Toppings are optional, ..be creative! :)
- 2 ripe bananas sliced
- whipped cream or ice cream for topping
- maraschino cherries
- 1/2 cup Chopped pecans
- chocolate or chocolate syrup(optional)

- chocolate Crust:
- Mix ingredients until thoroughly blended.Press into a 9â² pie pan.Bake
- @ 375 degrees for 7 minutes. (just to set, do not overbake)
- Allow to cool completely.
- (you may also use graham crackers or other wafers or cookies).

- Make the Custard:
- Combine the milk, flour, sugar, salt then eggs..I add the beaten eggs last.
- Add very soft cream cheese.
- Cook and stir over med. heat. Let it get TO the boiling point but it should NOT boil.
- When the custard is very thick remove from heat and wisk to insure smoothness.
- Add vanilla, mix.
- Now, pour evenly in to the graham cracker crust.
- Dot more bananas in the custard.
- Allow to cool and cover the desert with Cool Whip or whipped cream.
- Optional: I usually top with cherries, chopped nuts and chocolate (all optional)
