Spice And Herb-baked Tomato Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1½ tsps. cornflour
  • 1 tsp. dried marjoram
  • 1½ tsps. dried parsley
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • ½ tsp. dried thyme
  • ½ tsp. ginger powder
  • 2 tsps. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. mild paprika
  • 1½ tsps. onion powder
  • a pinch of cayenne pepper (or more if you like it hot!)
  • 1 tbsp. nutritional yeast (optional)
  • 1 tsp. fine sea salt
  • ¼ tsp. ground black pepper (I used ready-ground)
  • 2 tbsps. vegetable or groundnut oil
  • three-quarters 14-oz. can chopped tomatoes
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 4 medium-sized skinless chicken breast fillets
