- 4 1/2 Cups flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. anise seed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 Cup milk
- 1 Cup blanched almonds or walnuts chopped or both

A Dear Friend Of Mine Gave Me This Recipe Years Ago. I Haven't Made Them In A While, But I Remember Being Very Pleased With Their Taste The First Time I Tried This Recipe.
