Ingredients

- 11/2c chopped onion(about 1 large)
- 1c chopped celery
- 2 carrots,halved lengthwise and thinly sliced(about 1c)
- 1 oz. Canadian bacon or pancetta
- 3c chicken broth
- 3c chopped cooked turkey(about 1lb)
- 21/2c mashed cooked peeled baking potatoes
- 1Tbs chopped fresh sage
- 1/4tsp fresh ground pepper
- sage sprigs(optional)
Description
While Canadian Bacon Has A Fraction Of The Calories And Slightly More Protein Than Regular Bacon,it's Higher In Sodium. You Can Substitute Pancetta. This Is A Very Tasty,comforting Soup. From My Recipes.
