- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 ½ cups fresh or frozen green beans
- 1 ½ cups thinly sliced carrots
- 1 cup peeled and diced potatoes
- ½ tsp. dried basil
- ½ cup sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 pkg. ( 10oz ) frozen peas
- 1 can ( 16oz ) chopped tomatoes drained
- 4 Tbs. margarine or butter
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 egg yolks
- Dash of salt and pepper
- Glaze:
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 Tbs. Cold water
- Other Materials Needed:
- 6 New clay flowerpots ( 4 inches in diameter )
- vegetable oil
- aluminum foil
- Empty seed packets glued onto wooden craft sticks ( pop-cycle sticks )
