Ingredients

• 1 cup butter, softened
• 1 cup sugar
• ½ cup brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2½ cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 (12 ounce) package milk chocolate chips
• 4 ounces grated hershey bar (optional – but it sure is good!)
• **Note - for an occassional twist, when I'm feeling really extravagant, I add about 1 cup of chocolate coated toffee bits or white chocolate chips...why not go crazy once in awhile?!?
