Fungi Fondue Recipe

Ingredients

  • 6oz fresh mushrooms, diced
  • 3T butter
  • 1T cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup finely diced onion or shallot
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup white wine(use a high quality)
  • 16oz Brie cheese, rind removed and diced
  • 1t fresh lemon juice
  • 1t dry mustard
  • heavy dash of hot sauce
  • Dipper Ideas
  • ham
  • mini sausages
  • turkey
  • celery
  • carrots
  • mushrooms
  • bell peppers
  • cherry tomatoes
  • broccoli
  • cauliflower
  • asparagus
  • baby potatoes
  • bread cubes(I toss with butter then bake, like croutons, but just lightly browned on the edges)
  • ~~I also lightly steam most of the veggies
