Ingredients
- 1 lb ground meat, (beef, pork, chicken, turkey, or combo)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 finely diced carrot
- salt and pepper
- 1 cup cooked grain,(rice or barley work nice, wild rice is my favorite)
- 2 lb cabbage (maybe more)
- 8 oz shredded sharp cheese,( cheddar or pepper jack are good)
- Sauce;
- 2 8oz cans tomato sauce
- 1 28oz can whole tomatoes and juice, crushed
- 1 tblsp. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. worchestershire sauce
- 1/8 - 1/4 tsp. allspice
- salt and pepper to taste
