Ingredients

• 2 sticks (1 cup) butter
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 3 cups flour (I used 2 of white, 1 of whole wheat)
• 1 teaspoon salt (skipped it - tasted great anyway)
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
• 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
• 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 2 teaspoons ground allspice or spicebush berries (another indigenous ingredient)
• 3 cups pawpaw pulp
• 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
• 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
• 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
• 1 cup raisins
