Apple Pie With Balsamic And Port Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 12 tbsp butter, chilled
  • 8 tbsp ice water
  • 6 small tart green apples, peeled and cut in small wedges
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp 5 spices
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • pinch of salt
  • juice of one lime
  • 2 tbsp port wine
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 cup port wine
  • 1/2 tps cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp sugar

Description

I LOVE This Pie! I Usually Serve It Still Warm With A Nice Scoop Of Vanilla Ice-cream. It Is Very Comforting And One Of My Favourite Desserts To Have In The Autumn.
