  • 2 lg eggs plus 1 lg yolk
  • 1/2c apricot preserves
  • 1/3c sour cream
  • 1tsp pure vanilla
  • 13/4c flour3/4tsp baking powder
  • 1(7oz) tube almond paste,crumbled
  • confectioners sugar,toasted almond slices and blackberries for garnish
  • For sauce:
  • 1/4c butter
  • 1c brown sugar
  • 1/3c heavy cream
  • 1/4c peach brandy
  • 1/4c peach preserves
