  3. 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  4. 2 large garlic cloves, minced
  5. 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  6. 1/2 pound sharp Cheddar cheese, coarsely shredded (2 cups)
  7. 1/4 cup pitted oil-cured green or black olives, coarsely chopped
  8. 1 cup coarse plain dry bread crumbs
  9. Salt and freshly ground pepper
