Ingredients

  2. 2 pounds onions, thinly sliced
  3. 1/3 cup white wine vinegar
  4. 2 tablespoons dry white wine
  5. Pinch of sugar
  6. Kosher salt
  7. Two 1-pound balls of frozen pizza dough, thawed
  8. Cornmeal, for dusting
  9. 1/2 cup oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes, drained and thinly sliced
  10. 1/4 pound imported Fontina cheese, shredded
  11. 1/4 pound mozzarella, shredded
  12. 6 ounces andouille sausage, sliced 1/4 inch thick
  13. 1 tablespoon minced flat-leaf parsley
