Fart-less Beer Beans (crockpot Recipe)

Ingredients

  • 1 bag Anasazi Beans, (16 oz., or 1 pound)
  • 1 package Smoked Sausage, such as Eckrich
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 medium Onion, red, yellow or white
  • 4 cups Water
  • 2 teaspoons Dried Italian Herbs, *This is a mixture usually of dryed sage, oregano, marjoram, rosemary, thyme, etc., and can be purchased already combined. Recipe calls for 2 teaspoons of this combination, NOT2 tsp. of each herb (Oh, Lawd, no...)
  • 2 cups Stock, (chicken or beef), * can use bullion cubes or granulized preparation.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt, I LOVE Morton's Natural Sea Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper, (I prefer fresh-ground)
  • 1 teaspoon Granulated Garlic, (or garlic powder)
  • 1 bottle Beer, (wheat or dark, but any will do)
