1/3-1/2 c. cornstarch as needed, for dusting
Vegetable oil, as needed, for frying
1 TB vegetable oil (from frying)
2 TB salted black beans, crushed
2 cloves garlic, minced
½-inch ginger, peeled, minced
4 stalks green onion, white parts only, chopped
Sauce:
1 TB soy sauce
1 TB oyster sauce
1 TB Shaoxing wine
1 tsp. sesame seed oil
1 TB cornstarch mixed with 2 TB water
Garnish: green onions or cilantro optional
