Buttermilk Double Corn Bread with Bacon

Ingredients

2 cups buttermilk
1 1/4 cups cornmeal
10 slices bacon, cut in 1/2-inch pieces
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3 eggs
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp butter, melted
2 1/2 cups corn kernels (fresh or frozen--don't need to thaw)
