Ingredients

  • 2 pounds fresh apricots
  • ¾ cup packed light brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • 1 lemon, zested
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 recipe Crumble Topping (page 195) or Almond Crumble Topping (page 196)
  • Vanilla Pouring Custard (page 313), for topping (optional)
