- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 2 (15-ounce) cans chickpeas, also known as garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup water
- Steamed white rice
- Pomegranate molasses
- Plain yogurt
- Naan or chapatis
