Ingredients
3 cups chopped okra (always wash the okra, dry it and then chop)1 large onion (sliced thin and long)
1 finely chopped tomato
pinch of asafoetida (optional)
1 tbsp chopped ginger
2 -3 chopped green chillies
1 tsp of cumin seeds
1 tsp of red chilli powder (less or more per taste)
1/4 tsp garam masala
3/4 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
salt- to taste
3 tbsp vegetable or cooking oil
