Tom Collins

Ingredients:

2 fluid ounces gin2 fluid ounces lemon juice1 fluid ounce simple syrup1 dash bitters1 cup ice cubes1/4 cup cold club soda1 slice lemon, for garnish1 maraschino cherry
Preparation:

1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour in the gin, lemon juice, simple syrup and a dash of bitters.

2. Cover and shake until the outside of the container is frosty, about 15 seconds. Strain into a highball glass full of ice.

3. Top off with club soda and garnish with a lemon slice and maraschino cherry.


Brandy Alexander

Ingredients:

1 1/2 oz brandy1 oz dark creme de cacao1 oz half-and-half1/4 tsp grated nutmeg
Preparation:

1. In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine the brandy, creme de cacao, and half-and-half. Shake well.

2. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with the nutmeg. Enjoy.

Old Fashioned

Ingredients:

2 oz bourbon whiskey2 dashes Angostura bitters1 splash water1 tsp sugar1 maraschino cherry1 orange wedge

Preparation:

1. Mix sugar, water and angostura bitters in an old-fashioned glass.

2. Drop in a cherry and an orange wedge. Muddle into a paste using a muddler or the back end of a spoon.

3. Pour in bourbon, fill with ice cubes, and stir. Enjoy.

Vodka Gimlet

Ingredients:

1 oz lime juice1 1/2 oz vodka1 tsp powdered sugar

Preparation:

1. Pour ingredients into a shaker and stir.

2. Strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.
