- 9 slices of shortcut bacon rashers, trimmed of fat, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 2 medium carrots, chopped
- 2 sticks of celery, chopped
- 400g tomatoes, chopped (or a can)
- 1 cup drained and rinsed bean mix
- 4 stock cubes disolved in 4 cups boiling water
- 2 cups of cabbage (pref. Chinese) shredded
- 2 tblsp ch parsley
