Monkfish And Prawn Kebabs With Tomato Salsa

Ingredients

  • 1 medium-size monkfish tail, about 700 g (1 lb 9 oz)
  • 4 raw tiger prawns or 8-12 smaller ones, about 100 g (3½ oz) altogether
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon ginger purée, or grated ginger
  • 1 green chilli, deseeded and finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sunflower or groundnut oil
  • Salt and black pepper
  • For the salsa:
  • 500 g (1 lb 2 oz) plum tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoons coriander seeds
  • 1 green chilli, deseeded and finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 stalk lemongrass, outer leaves removed, very finely sliced
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • To serve: wedges of lime
